Fox Legion LT EX Trousers

SKU: 25784-00138
£80.00

The Legion LT EX is the over-boot version of the LT trousers. It uses the same philosophy of mixing dirt-bike style design, with mobility, light weight and comfort with the toughness to last riding dual sport, enduro and ADV light style riding.

The design is very similar to the Fox 180 lines. However, the main body is cut from dependable 850D polyester to provide durability, while zonal stretch panels provide freedom of movement. Large zipper vents on the legs allow you to increase airflow on those warmer days, so you can maintain comfort throughout the day. Knee vents and mesh backed logos bring additional breathability. On top of that, pockets on both legs give you a place to pop your wallet or a key.

They also feature the leather heat shielding, and in-boot cuff design. The over boot  portion uses a press stud closure with multiple closure point to expand or tighten around different boot models. If you're looking for that overboot design enduro/dual sport trousers, then the Legion LT EX is the trouser for you.

Fit

The fit of these trousers is very similar to the Legion trousers. It's typically 'relaxed', meaning that it runs toward the large end of the sizing. I'd still recommend sticking to your standard trouser size unless you're specifically after a slimmer fit. The trousers are longer than a normal MX trousers to work with boots too. These trousers will fit perfectly with most knee braces or knee guards and a base layer. The over-boot is designed to work with MX style boots and will accommodate any boots.

Best for your buck- Love them!

To say that I am very average is probably and understatement. I am average hight, weight and ability on a dirt bike/ Adventure bike and probably have worn very average kit too. These legion pants are much better than any kit I am used to. Fit and finish is perfect with very usable pockets, great ventilation and enough room for the essential knee braces. I am 5'9'' and I would say the leg is slightly long but I think that adds to, rather than subtracts from the overall experience.

This may seem like strange praise, However, for once I was not fussing with kit; I am usually trying to make it work for me in some way. Put the kit on in the morning, went for a ride, never thought about it again. Did not have to adjust, tighten, loosen, pull waiste back up, Never had too baggy crutch (catching getting on or off the bike, is a pain) or too tight to not add a warm layer underneath.

I suspect I will need to combine with some waterproofs for the wet days. I have not tried them over consecutive days riding yet but do plan to use them on longer adventure trips.

I will definitely buy buy more fox kit and brake magazine delivered in a timely manner.

Cheers

Great Riding Pants

Well the boots bit is a fib, But I do have some new pants ( when did they stop being trousers?) Fox Legion EX LT, the new over the boot trousers, these replace the Klim ‘Rally adventure’ trousers I’ve had for about 7 years.

They're a good fit at the waist with a click through fastener to the side, and light by comparison. A long zip and three press studs take care of the over the boot bit and can be tight to the boot or looser if you want.

Two pockets and two ventilation zips easily opened when seated, handy for the odd chewy bar, there's some leather panels to help grip the tank and some stretchy bits for when you're moving about. Cordura Ripstop should make them tough and waterproof (haven't tested that bit yet) Space enough for knee braces.quite impressed after a day riding out on the lanes. Not a bad price either, the question is...do I now buy the matching jacket?

Brake Magazine
Brake Magazine branded clothing is generally inline with standard clothing sizing. If you wear a large, a large will likely fit. However, we do have some nuances. Our mens tee's are quite relaxed fit and mens jumpers are a little more form fitted. With the women's clothing, the same applies.
